He’s showing how to play it not clone his sound.
Do you have to have a strat with bass frets,2 cascading tube screamers and a Dumble amp that cost more than a house to play Stevie songs? Don’t get me wrong I’m a tube amp overdrive kind of guy.

turn off all the damn distortion and attempt to play it cleaner. He liked to use tubescreamer by ibanez.. but for the most part you can hear more crispness than distortion… besides… Polish your playing by ear without any distortion. Distortion anly hides your mistakes…
Don’t rush through it either… You’re losing accent….

i watched a couple of your video spots and think you do a great job of explaining whats going on . i would like some advice on how to get the best settings on my amp ( treb , mid , bass , reverb , etc. )
